DEGREES / EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT:
Graduated from Torrey Pines High School in 1999 and then attended San Diego State University obtaining a bachelor's degree in International Business. While at SDSU, I served in various leadership roles in the Greek system, including President of the Inter-Fraternity Council. I earned my Juris Doctor, with Honors, from California Western School of Law, where I served as a member of the Law Review, clerked for a preeminent International Law and Human Rights professor, and clerked for a Federal Judge.
PROFESSIONAL PASSIONS &ACHIEVEMENTS:
I have spent the past decade as a civil litigation attorney with several large national law firms, and currently work with a local mid-sized full service firm, Sullivan Hill. I enjoy the challenge of investigating complex legal business disputes, and assisting clients in finding solutions to difficult legal and business hurdles. I also enjoy the opportunity to serve as a pro bono legal advocate for those in need of legal assistance, and currently volunteer to represent active duty military service members through the ABA Military Pro Bono Law Project.
PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL GOALS:
My goals for the immediate future are to expand my legal practice into new and emerging industries, and continue to find new opportunities for pro bono work and meaningful community service.
CAUSES OF INTEREST:
My particular causes of interest are giving back to military service members and veterans, addressing the problem of wrongful conviction in the criminal justice system, and the advancement of health care availability for the elderly and others in need.
REASON FOR JOINING THE COLLECTIVE ACCESS:
I want to continue to expand my professional network and seize upon new and unique community service opportunities.
